At the end of "Emergency's first season, Robert Cinader offered Ed Self the job of producer. At 32, Ed was one of the youngest producers of a prime time network series and credits "Emergency!" with launching his career as a producer. Ed is currently developing (along with Gino Grimaldi) a series with the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, and is writing a feature script.
