Randy's Nomination
Walk of Fame nominations are based on the following:
- Professional achievement in the field of entertainment
- Longevity of five (5) years or more
- Contributions to the community
- A nomination form including Randy's qualifications and photograph will be sent to the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Committee by May 31, 2001. Petitions and postcards/letters from fans will NOT be accepted by the Walk of Fame
Committee.
- A letter from Randy's agent will be included with the nomination stating that Randy agrees to be nominated and will
appear at the dedication ceremony if selected.
- Samples of Randy's work will be sent along with the nomination.
- Randy will be notified in June 2001 as to whether or not he has been selected to receive a star. If Randy is not
selected, his nomination will automatically be submitted the following year. It may take several consecutive
nominations before Randy is selected to receive a star.
- Once Randy is notified that he will receive a star he will have up to five (5) years to schedule the ceremony. The
ceremony will be open to the public.
$15,000 is due to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce upon Randy's selection to the Walk of Fame.
There must be a written guarantee that the $15,000 will be paid. This guarantee will be included as part of Randy's nomination.
If we do not raise $15,000 in time to nominate Randy for 2001, his nomination will be postponed until May 2002. All monies will
be handled by Koch and Hoos, LLC, an accounting firm based in Alexandria, Virginia. All monies raised from contributions will be
held "In Trust" until Randy is selected to receive a star.
Per the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the Walk of Fame star sponsorship fee is subject to change. The cost of the star could rise
between Randy's nomination and his selection to receive a star.
